Our Story

Julie Dennewitz is an ecological horticulturist with a life-long love nature. She is driven by a passionate belief in the power of gardens and a desire to see native plants and wildlife celebrated in the urban landscape.

Julie graduated from Cincinnati State with a degree in Landscape Horticulture and has worked on an urban farm, in a retail garden center, and as an environmental educator and steward of a public botanical garden. She has designed and managed the install of many public native plant gardens through her work at the Civic Garden Center of Greater Cincinnati. Her relentless drive to educate and inspire, as well as her reverence for the ecology of Southwest Ohio, guides her creative energy in every design.
